I started making gluten free cakes after my husband was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. I wanted a special cake for my daughters second birthday but couldn't find anyone locally (at a reasonable price) who could make a gluten free cake so I decided to make one myself. I enjoyed making the cake and everyone loved it (In the Night Garden Cake). It was also lovely that my husband was able to enjoy his daughters 2nd birthday with others.
I subsequently started making cakes for friends and relatives who, although not gluten intolerant or coeliac themselves, loved the cakes and increasingly suggested I should start a business and so here I am!
I provide cakes produced with no gluten containing ingredients that everyone can enjoy - no more individual 'special cakes' for the gluten intolerant or coeliacs amongst us.
